On January 27th, 2022 Abilympics France, who was an organizer of the 9th International Abilympics, with the participation of IAF Secretariat representatives, the Head of the Abilympics National Centre of the Russian Federation6 Igor Gribanov, and the Head of the Federal Methodical Centre for Inclusive Education (FMCIE) Dina Makeeva initiated an online meeting where the questions on the preparation for the 10th International Abilympics were discussed.

The Panel discussion “International cooperation in education for people with disabilities” within the framework of the International Congress-exhibition “Young professionals” was held on December 14, 2021.

Speakers from Russia, Germany, South Korea and Finland raised the issues of holding Abilympics championships in different countries, discussed the experience of international cooperation in the field of inclusion and vocational education, and also touched upon the problems of employment of people with disabilities.

Republic of Belarus hosted the 3rd meeting on inclusive education and the Abilympics movement within the framework of the international road show of Abilympics from December 9 to December 10, 2021.

The Russian delegation headed by the head of the Abilympics National Centere, with the participation of representatives of the Federal Methodological Centre for Inclusive Education of the FIDVET (FMCIE), visited the Republican Institute for Vocational Education (RIPO) of the Republic Belarus.

Azerbaijan hosted the 2nd meeting within the framework of the international road show of Abilympics from December 6 to December 7, 2021

The Russian delegation met with officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Republic of Azerbaijan, of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Republic of Azerbaijan, and of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The issues of Abilympics movement development in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as inclusive education, employment of persons with disabilities and occupation of disabled youth were discussed at the meetings.
